Claude Garden had been introduced to Japan through 2 LPs in the past almost for 20 years. This is the new album for popular music since then. Pavane by Faure is a classical music, but here it is arranged as a popullar one. It is very sophisticated. He visited Japan with Paul Morea Orchestra and then he is well known in Japanese harmonica fans. He visited Japan several times since then.
This album seems to be released for the Yokoham International Harmonica Festival, 1995. This is a classical music album accompanied by a harp and it includes several Japanese music of which score was imported from Japan for this album. When he visited Japan before the festival, he brought a harp player.
This is a popular album sold at Yokohama Festival, 1995.Alexandra is a name of his daughter. There are several music that he composed for this album. The name "Magic Garden" is now used for the name of a new chromatic harmonica model sold from Suzuki Music Instrument.
Rare. This is a classic music album of Claude Garden who plays both classic and popular music. It also contains a title with his daughter's name, composed by himself. In this era, the casette tape version was also released..
The world champion at Detroit festival in 1991. The piano accompaniment is Mrs. Knopp who was a Japanese born in Morioka prefecture and now is living in Austria. Maria, with a guitarist and also a composer recently released 2 contemporary music albums for harmonica and guitar . Very active player.
This quartet visited Japan before Yokohama festival 1995. I think Maria Volfsberger was included in the group as a lead player, but not sure.
